I just want to be clear about a couple of things.
I am not new to this blogging thing. I'm actually a bit of an old hag when it comes to blogging. I am also a veteran at starting blogs and then abandoning them like a litter of kittens at the back door of an animal shelter**.
So, this time I’m going to worry less about posting perfectly-polished pieces (Alliteration, bitches. Bam!) and just throw down what’s spinning around my head. I can also promise you that I’ll likely pull a couple of old posts from some old blogs and repurpose them (in the vein of full disclosure.) But unless you’re my family, ten closest friends or that one editor who I keep submitting stuff to – you probably won’t notice.
And because we’re just meeting here for the first time, I thought I’d give you a little heads up on what you can expect:
So, that’s it. We’re live. Let’s do this. Who’s with me?
(insert sound of crickets)
**NOTE: I have never abandoned a litter of kittens anywhere. Certainly not in a place that’s likely to have security cameras. That’s an analogy, folks. And yes, I had to look up metaphor vs. simile vs. analogy before posting this because there’s always someone on the Internet running around with a copy of The Elements of Style trying to catch you in a grammar/punctuation misstep. Bastards.
